In many big cities, there are conventions and street fairs that go on weekly.  Some cities even have a venue dedicated to small businesses in order to help them out.

While only accepting cash seems like the best way, when you are away from your normal business location, it would probably be better for your business to accept credit cards as well.  You may think that by virtue of being in a dedicated business setting, with the benefit of other businesses around you, that customers would remember to bring cash for the day.

The fact of the matter is, though, many people wander into these venues haphazardly.  By not accepting credit cards, you are directly damaging your bottom line, plain and simple.  You will be turning customers who you may never see again, because of your location of the moment, or the fact that you don’t accept credit cards.  The customers that you turn away may have been the type of influential consumers who bring their friends whenever they discover a product previously undiscovered.  So, in reality, you have not lost only one customer because of your cash only policy, but many others who would have directly resulted from the word of mouth garnered from that inital purchase.  Don’t let opportunities to become a topic of discussion pass you by.  Accept credit cards, and turn every opportunity into a sale.  Your business will prosper, and you won’t lose any sleep worrying if you gave customer the wrong idea about your business.  Visit Noblepay.com to learn more.
