Credit Cards = Good Business

Credit Cards = Good Business

One thing that consumers want is lots of options.  If the prices at your establishment prove better than your competitors, then you have won their business.  However, if they prefer to pay by credit card, on occasion, and you don’t accept credit cards as payment, you might lose that customer.  The consumer may come back at a later date, with cash, but you have lost business.  The consumer may not recommend your business to his or her friends, because of your no credit card policy.

Credit = Business Sense

Location is a very important ingredient to a successful business.  If customers don’t see your business, then they will never frequent it.  In addition, are they able to pay using the tender that they desire, meaning cash or credit?  A business that customers return to is in tune with the needs of the customers, and if your customers are willing to purchase something, you should accept whatever they are willing to pay with, especially in the case of credit cards.  If a customer sees no options, he or she might just leave.

Credit cards help your business

Credit cards help your business

When consumers have only cash on their person, at the end of the day, the cash will run out after the shopping that was done.  If your store was one of the latter ones that the consumer visited, your store may miss out on the opportunity for a purchase if cash is the only payment option.  If your business has a cash only policy, you could be missing out on sales, because the item that the consumer might want may be above the amount of cash that is on hand.

Credit Cards will travel

Credit Cards will travel

Sometimes people have to go somewhere, but since it’s an unfamiliar area, they arrive at their destination early.  Since they reached their destination already, they need something to bide their time.  As chance may happen, your storefront, virtual or physical, is where they would like to wander.  And since this is a spontaneous event, they didn’t leave with cash, but always have their credit cards on them.  Aren’t you glad that you are prepared for this situation?  Browsing customers come and go, but it’s your goal to have a browsing customer leave with one of your products or services before leaving the premises.  Since they are not local, the chances aren’t very high that they will happen upon your physical storefront any time soon.  So with that knowledge already known, maybe you could, as the crafty entrepreneur that you are, make them an offer that they can’t refuse while in your store.  If you are able to do that, you may even be able to develop a kind of correspondence with the customer.  For example, whenever they think of or see the product that they were able to acquire from your establishment, they will remember that the experience in your store was very memorable.  Then when one of the customer’s friends happens into your area, your former customer will recommend a friend to visit your store.  That friend will reveal that when he or she arrives, and you have a legacy in the making.  Visit Noblepay.com to learn all about how to get started accepting credit cards.
